Licensed Vet Technicians
The 280AMC Nursing team features five Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) and several students from the Jefferson State Veterinary Tech Program. These special individuals have completed professional training and are graduates of a certified college program who have also passed a national board examination and state board examination. Just like the veterinarians, these professionals are required to complete annual continuing education to refine their skills. We also have outstanding Veterinary Assistants that work with the LVT and DVM staff to provide the best care possible for our patients and their people.
